Artesanal process that respect the environment
We create distinctive home textiles and fashion accessories with artisanal processes that respect the environment. We use the finest natural fabrics Made in Italy, such as cashmere, silk and wool for the scarves. Our home textiles collection is made with vintage-handwoven linen because we believe in the philosophy of upcycling: the art of transforming old or waste items or materials into something new, adding value through creativity and design.
All the printing and dyeing material we use is Made in Sweden and Made in Italy, GOTS certified and free from formaldehydes, PVC and phthalates.
Natural dye extracts dyeing is also possible on request.
Our esthetic is contemporary, simple and sophisticated at the same time. We make pieces with the purpose of adding distinctiveness to your interiors and wardrobe.
Every collection is made in limited quantities, reflecting our philosophy of high-quality craftsmanship, attention to details and beauty. This also enables us to wide our creativity and evolve with each new piece- encouraging us to grow and establish new collaborations with brands and professionals who share our same values.
Founder
CLAUDIA NENCI
N. 11A Textiles was founded in 2019 by the Gothenburg-based textile designer and weaver Claudia Nenci. After a 10 years career as textile conservator -collaborating with many museums and institutions- the Italian-born creative moved to Sweden in 2003 to study weaving and textile design at the Swedish School of Textile-University Collage of Borås.
After graduating she started a new career as designer and product developer of home textile and fashion accessories, both in Italy and Sweden.
Her creations are the fusion of Mediterranean cultural and artistic background with forms and colors belonging to the Scandinavian tradition and crafts. Claudia´s idea of craftsmanship and art are connected to the Renaissance philosophy that hand-made is an expression of human experience.
